7/9/11 - Chip and the crew back at Auto Club Speedway for Chip to set an AMA-qualifying laptime, but finds that in order to make the track safer for trackday riders, a new chicane has been added to the back straight, killing 2-4 seconds a lap. The team may return on September 5th for the WERA race weekend, where the track will be in the correct AMA configuration and Chip can try again!

6/26/11 - WORLD RECORD! HISTORY MADE AGAIN! PIKES PEAK INTERNATIONAL HILL CLIMB! Chip rides the electric superbike to a 2nd place class podium result, sets a new world record as the fastest electric motorcycle ever to summit Pikes Peak (12:50.094), and another record as the most powerful motorcycle of any kind (241 hp)to ever finish Pikes Peak! In the first paved section of the track, Chip ran 9th out of 112 bikes! 2012 the course will be all paved and Chip will look for a top result overall!

6/24/11 - Chip and the team greet a crowd of 35,000 fans at Pikes Peak Fan Fest, downtown Colorado Springs, showing off the electric superbike and signing more than 400 autograph posters and showing on-board race video in the team's 32 foot booth!

6/22/22 - Chip Yates honored with 17 Pikes Peak Legends at the Carriage Museum at the Broadmore Hotel, Colorado Springs. Honored alongside Chip are legends Rod Millen, Monster Tajima, Rhys Millen, Greg Tracy, Gary Trachy, Davey Durell, Jeff Zwart, and others!
